School Awards

We are proud to have been awarded the PSQM award. PSQM transforms primary schools and communities - growing confident leaders and teachers of science, building children’s attainment and aspiration in science, and shaping the culture of a primary school into a place where every child, teacher and family thinks ‘science is for them’.

We have been awarded The Basic Skills Quality Mark. This award celebrates and supports continuous improvement in literacy and numeracy. It is awarded to a setting or school to recognise their provision, practice and performance in literacy and numeracy, and is valid for three years. A school or setting must demonstrate a whole school approach to improving standards in literacy and numeracy, with evidence of the impact of its approaches. It provides a framework for self-evaluation and continuous improvement of the basic skills of all pupils in a school, including those who underachieve and those who under-attain.

We have been awarded The Sandwell Well-being charter mark. This is a school's opportunity to commit to improving the mental health and well-being of everyone connected with the school.

We are very proud to share with you that following an assessment of our setting,  we were awarded the Early Years Quality Mark. This prestigious award recognises the dedication and commitment of our Early Years Team, and demonstrates how we work collaboratively at Burnt Tree to ensure all our children reach their full potential.

We have been recognised by the local authority and awarded the Music Mark, which is an award ro celebrate schools who are committed to providing a high-quality music education.
